Who We Are:
Global Adventures is the missions arm of Calvary Albuquerque. Adventure is defined by Webster’s as an undertaking usually involving danger and unknown risks, and as an exciting or remarkable experience. With this in mind we believe serving God is an adventure, and it is with this philosophy that we approach going into the entire world to make disciples of Jesus Christ. What We Do:
We work to inform, inspire, and involve Calvary Albuquerque unto faithfulness to His cross-cultural will for this church. We believe God has given us specific purposes for establishing His presence in select locations throughout the globe. GA refers to such a location as a Strategic Missions Base. Upon developing a Strategic Initiative for each of these Strategic Missions Bases we concentrate our efforts by primarily commissioning and sending GA missionaries and short-term outreaches to these locations in order to sufficiently contribute to the outworking of a broader Strategic Plan for the area. The primary destinations of our short-term efforts are relegated to GA Strategic Missions Bases. A current list of these select locations is available below under the heading of “Strategic Missions Bases”. We remain open to the possibility
that God may increase the
number of Strategic Missions Bases.
We
also have a history of teaming up with like-minded organizations such
as
Samaritan’s Purse, Gospel for
Declare God's glory among the nations; His marvelous deeds among the peoples. |
