Team Background:

Clive was born in Belize City, Belize and lived in extreme poverty. He migrated to California with his brother and sisters at 11. After graduating from College in Los Angeles and moving to Orange County, Clive attended a Saturday Night Concert at Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa and received the Lord after listening to Pastor Chuck Smith sharing on the life of Samson.

Because of difficulties in his early childhood, (losing his father at age 5 and watching his mother struggle to raise 6 children) Clive pushed Belize out of his mind in pursuit of the 'American Dream'. But God used various traumatic and life changing situations to point him back to his homeland. In 1994, he returned to Belize to see its spiritual condition. Immediately his heart was stirred for the people of Belize, especially its young people. His involvement in Belize grew as he worked in various capacities: with delinquent youth, prisoners, street kids, pastors, churches and hosting short-term mission teams.

Ministry Description:
Reaching The Nations...One Soul At A Time

Prayer Concerns:

  • Personal time, refreshment and encouragement; being a loving example of the believer.
  • A heart that hurts and broken for the things that hurt and break God’s heart!
  • Like-minded people to co-labor with us in ministry at Lighthouse Christian Radio.
  • Replacement for Johnny Wall and for him to finish well in his final months in Belize.
  • Plans for Summer Sports Camps in July with Town Council and mission teams.

Praise Reports:

    • Praising God for the encouragement received from those I’ve encouraged in times passed.
    • Thankful for Leon Berger and his technical expertise he gave last weekend at Lighthouse.

Team Needs:

  • My desire has always been to raise up Belizeans for the work of the ministry and even though it has been a frustration and challenge, that desire is still current. I see the need to train up as well as live out the gospel in daily discipleship to make this a reality. I have to confess to you that this is a very painful and costly venture, especially with two recent incidents I’m still recovering from; but this is a part of ministering and involvement in people’s lives. With all that said, we are in urgent need of what I call a 'Mission-Minded Media Missionary' for operating the radio station and the various aspects of the ministry at Ambergris Caye, while training and discipling Belizeans. Johnny Wall, the volunteer/missionary will be leaving us in a few months and we have no replacement as of yet. I know that God is in full control and I trust in Him to provide, so can you please join us in prayer for this? If you sense a tug on your heart or know someone who has been seeking the Lord for such an opportunity as this, please contact me.
