Team Background:

Kathy has attended Calvary of Albuquerque since 1984. She graduated from Calvary of Albuquerque's School of Ministry in May 2008. Kathy is a physical therapist and participated in the GA short-term medical mission trip to Kosova in October 2006. During this trip, she had the opportunity to assist national physical therapists, physical therapy students, and hospital staff. Kathy made a follow-up trip to Kosova in May 2007, to teach university physical therapy students and hospital staff. It was following the second trip that she became aware of the Lord’s calling for her to return to Kosova for long-term missions work. Kathy moved to Prishtina to begin the adventure in August of 2008.

In October of 2009, God opened the door for Kathy to move from Prishtina to Malishevë located in central Kosova; to become a part of that community instead of a once-a-week visitor. The fourteen months Kathy lived in Prishtina and served with CC Prishtina was a time of preparation for the work the Lord has for her in Malishevë. Kathy is now a part of the fellowship Rruga e Perëndisë in Malishevë. Randy Harvey is the pastor, originally from CC Murrieta.

Ministry Description:

· Physical Therapy outreach: Kathy began treating patients at the health center in Malishevë, in April 2009. Through an interpreter, she is able to see about 12 patients each Monday. A physical therapy student also comes to the health center each Monday to work with Kathy and to gain practical experience in treating patients. Kathy also takes occasional trips to some of the neighboring cities in Kosova to treat groups of patients who are members of other fellowships.
