Team Background: Servy committed his life to Christ when he was in high school, he has been involved in multiple ministries in Calvary Abq since that time. When he graduated from high school Servy was involved in the missions department, then called LifeLine Missions, and later went on to attend the Shepherds School at Calvary. He has been diversely involved in the church, in the bookstore, on the maintenance staff, and also in worship and teaching. Servy and Mia met on a mission trip and later worked together in Parchments bookstore where they grew to know each other and then married in 2004. Mia was raised in a christian home and has been involved in Calvary since moving to Abq in 2001. She attended the School of Ministry and also worked in Solomon's Porch and later Parchments bookstore and helped in various ministries at Calvary. Servy and Mia have been blessed with three boys, Lion, Solomon and Enoch. Born in 2005, 2006 and 2008. Ministry Description: God has put these goals in our hearts for the ministry. First, to become proficient and culturally appropriate in the use of the Mongolian Language. We will do this by immersing ourselves in the Mongolian language and culture. Next to become a resource to the community. We will do this by building relationships and guide those in pursuit of a holy life. Finally, to equip and train those whose desire is to become an asset to their country, community and world. Especially men who feel it is their call to apply and teach all that they’ve been instructed. Prayer Concerns: Pray for our language studies as they will begin very soon. Pray for continued support for us. Pray for safety and health as the pollution is very bad, specifically for the boys and Servy as they deal with asthma. Praise Reports: Team Needs: |
